Labels are an important part of Gmail, functioning like folders on a desktop or in other email clients. By attaching labels to email messages you can easily sort your inbox and find previous messages of a similar nature. For example, if a large percentage of your client communication is done via email, you can create a label for each client and apply it to their messages. Much like you would put messages in a traditional folder.
How to Create Labels in Gmail
Step 1: Open up Google and search their Gmail.com. If you have a Gmail Account, just Sign but If you are having a Gmail Account Click Sign up.
Step 2: Type your username and password into the fields provided and click “Sign In.” You will now be logged into your Gmail account.
Step 4: When your Gmail opened you will see labels on the left side, as you can see in the screenshot below. These are all labels.
Step 5: To create sub-labels, click settings from the upper right corner, and then click Settings from the list.
Step 6: Here is the labels and notes. Here is the list of labels you can manage them if you click the show button the labels will appear with the list of labels.
Step 7: If you want to create new labels, scroll down and select “Create New Labels”. From the label window, enter your label name and then click “Create” to save your label from the label list. As shown in the snapshot.

How to Create Sublabels in Gmail?
Step 1: To create Sublabels, Click More on the left-hand vertical bar beside your email messages.
Step 2: Click the Create new label option and add the name of your label (as an example, let’s use Website List as your label’s name). You can then hit Create to create the parent label. Tick the “Nest label under” box and select (for example News Labels).
Step 3: Click the Create button and your label Website should now be nested under your parent label News Label List.
